Default jdm navi into 98 civic

0k do i bought a jdm navigation system that had the clips. I do not have the brian for the av inputs or the tapedeck. I have been told that i can stil wire this up and everything will work but the cd player. I have been told the tapedeck is needed for the cd player to work which makes no sense to me. also i know the electronic climate controll obviously will not work with the rod mechanism so does anyone have a wiring diagram or know how to make this all functional? Thanks

Some of the 4th and 5th gen JDM Preludes came with the electronic climate control & navi. I have seen DIY for installing them in USDM 4th and 5th gen Preludes. I am pretty sure the install would be the same/similar. So just search for them for more info.

I did find this

I considered doing this to my hatch but after much research and a half a dozen calls to Honda trying to figure out if I can make the GPS work, I decided the swap isnt worth it if you want everything to function like its supposed to.
