i dont know what to do i thought that meant to change your oil which i did and i pressed the button and still wont go away, let me know what to do...

 

Hold the button and turn the key to acc until it goes off then start the car.

 

You need to hold the button down while starting, until it goes out. This takes 3-5 seconds.

 

u need to hold the button for 2 sec. with the key off, then keep holding the button and turn the key to acc II then the maint light will blink...keep holding until it goes out...then start the car and like magic, its gone. but u should check ur service manual and perform the required service first.
