Bogging under heavy throttle
Car: '92 Civic CX
Engine: B18b1 with GSR head
Mods: DC header, blox intake manifold, braided SS line from the filter to the fuel rail.
Problem: I had the stock intake manifold on the car and it ran perfect. I found a blox intake manifold for $50, so I jumped on the deal, as that's exactly what I've been browsing the forums for, for a few weeks now. I swap the intake manifold, put everything back together, and primed the fuel system to check for leaks. Surprise, leaks at the banjo fitting. I see it's at the crush washers. I go to O'Reillys and pick up some copper washers. I did notice it has GREAT pressure on both sides of the filter while adjusting my line to fit with the new manifold. I finally have no leaks, crank the car, and it's throwing some codes for IAT and IACV. Turns out I accidentally swapped those. Crank the car, idling ok, drives ok under easy driving conditions. The car finally gets to temp and I give it half throttle. Under any throttle more than probably 30-40%, the car bogs pretty hard. I understand it will need to be tuned for more power, but as far as I read, it will run fine enough to give any amount of throttle and it run decent.
Any ideas? Need anymore info?
Thanks in advance,
Evan
