How much is your friend selling his RNR's? Personally, I think starting bid is rather high for used set of rims? Also, least amount of money you can get them for is $1300. I don't know if RNR's are still available in US, but you can probably pick up set of new ones for ~$1600. (Don't quote me on that price.)

Don't have much time left to decide. Can i get any advice on the RNR rims. I'm thinking about Mugens or SSR Type X rims.

i'd personally would stay away from the rims if it is not complete.

You can find some local ones from $1300-1800 depending on the condition and color. Most of them will already have tires on them.

If you were to purchase these w/o the caps, mind as well get the Tenzo look-a-like and take off the caps!

I was hoping without the center caps it would be less noticeable and people wont try to steal them.

I bought a wheel from that seller on ebay and wasn't very pleased...not to mention he never answered his emails. Be careful.

 

Dont do it...I would rather get a set with a slight scratch because they can be fixed...the silver ones at least. But rims with no caps check out jdmcivic.com or wheelchoice.com , they sell em once in a while for $1200 w/tires sometimes...Good luck to you...
