00 civic si vtec is not engaging at all times only when the car is warm and has been running a long time checked oil is good no check engine lights the speed senor code did come on po500 but i cleaned the plug and reset the code never comes back on vafc was installed i took that out and since i have done that vtec does not kick as hard as it did and most of the time not at all


what else can it be i have got legs on my wires when i reconnected the ecu back to stock because some of the wires were cut for the controller
