Please vote if you would like this classifieds section to be split up into smaller groups so everything doesn't go so fast. Sections like; Forced Induction Parts, Interior, Exterior, Exhaust, Internals, Wings and Kits, Lighting, Stereo, Wheels and Tires, ect.

Also post up some other suggestions you have on other sections of the classifieds.

hmmmmm excellent idea. Then people wouldn't have to keep bumpin it to make it go up to the top and stuff like every second or something like that but good idea. I like that U got my vote. Also it be much easier to look for stuff instead of cram everything all together in one post hehe.

i wouldn't really kno how effective this would be because a good portion of people selling parts on our board are selling multiple items that may be adaptable to many different applications so if you created subcategories, everyone would have to make a new post for each item they have up for sale. THis means that we'd pretty much end up with the same number of posts and the same pace of posts getting pushed back. This would require more memory space and quite possibly be disadvantageous to sales.

I kno for a fact that i've come across items of interest while looking at a post for a different item from the same seller. And sometimes i just browse and find a lot of good items lumped together from totally different categories but luckily the same seller. I know that the pace of the classified section goes quickly but i think it werks well as it is. Perhaps a stronger search engine could be helpful, that way if someone was looking to save time and search for a particular product, then it would be a bit easier even if the seller did not have the product listed in the topic heading or watever.

I dont think it would be that bad if we split ti up into a few broad categories. performance/engine/drivetrain
exterior/interior
wheels/suspension
and maybe even a WTB sction. But yes I think that would be an excellent idea

Good Idea but then the mods would have to monitor if members post the sale in the right sections. Members also have to make multiple posts, which can be a pain in the butt. It is a good idea though

 

OT: but I would like to see it go regional.

I have a ton of stuff to sell but I will not ship. I want you to see what I am selling before you buy.

Good idea, but their's too many possible sections. And there cannot be any parts that over-lap more than one section.

Maybe Interior, Exterior, Engine, Suspension, and that's all.

Dividing it up into car categories might be nice also....... i.e. Integra GSR parts, OEM Civic parts......just an idea.

Do you think that you are the first person to think of this ? It has been brought up many times, and the answer is always NO. I am not saying I am against it, I am just saying you need to respect the admins choice, and he has chosen to leave it the way it is.

The Closest thing you MIGHT be able to get is a seperation into "Want To Buy" and "For Sale"
