Car wont start after DPFI to MPFI swap..! Help please...!
I have a 90 Civic DX (Canadian model). I just recently did a couple conversions. I did a auto to manual change over, went from power steering to non power steering ( removed lines and pump and changed rack and pinion), and a DPFI to MPFI change over.
Everything is done and followed this link for the MPFI swap:

I've looked over my wiring about 4 times now and come to the conclusion that everything is wired up right to the best of my knowledge. My motor turns but wont start. Im getting spark but no fuel. And im getting a code 8 for TDC position. Can anybody help me out and figure out what is wrong..? And please dont tell me the "search bar is your friend".. ive used and found nothing.. And please if you arent coming on here to help and just bag on somebody, save the use on your keyboard for somebody else.. Anybody willing to help..! Thank you for you knowledge.... If i missed saying something on here please just ask me..

no two write ups are alike...try using this one since this is the one we used on my car two weeks ago and it started up with flying colors with no cel or ecu codes...!!!

The write ups arent the same but the wiring is.. i just read through the one you suggested and they're identical as far the wiring that has to be done... and i did it right for both write ups... Thanx though...
Code 8 is indicating a problem with one or more of the three sensors in the distributor housing. If you have access to the downloadable Civic service manual, it details relatively straightforward electrical tests that can be done to troubleshoot the problem. The problem is typically the sensor circuits or the sensors themselves, which if bad require you to replace the distributor housing.
I just had my Dizzy checked out and they said that its not working properly.. So im guessing now thats the problem... But would that cause fuel problems..?
And i do hear the fuel pump when i turn the ignition on..

just curious, what did you do to check that you were not getting fuel? also, if your dizzy isn't working, how come you said you were getting spark?

Well the guy said that its giving off spark but very weak.. He thinks the coil is bad.. and as far as fuel goes i pulled one of the plugs out after trying to start the car to see if it had been soaked by fuel.. But they looked pretty dry..
I followed the same write up and im getting the same problem with the fuel pump....maybe we did the same mistake or theres a mixup in the write up for the injectors part.
if u r getting spark at the dizzy, weak or not, with some fuel it should crank over. if u have a fuel pressure gauge, or can get one, hook it up to the top of the fuel filter, this will let u know fuel is getting to the rail, or if u r good with a vom check the pump your self. i've also done a number of dpfi to mpfi. if one of the two added injectors is wrong the ecu will throw that code for that injector(s). double check the wiring, sure you've done this over n over but go through it slowly, one wire at a time, once i had the two yellow/black wires that connect to the resistor box mixed up with the yellow wire from the #1 injector n it would crank no start, ecu threw that code n i had to trace it all the way back. just a suggestion, sounds tedious but it drove me nuts for 2 days. if u need a good link for dpfi to mpfi let me know
Efsleep5: well for me I knw that I'm getting fuel to the fuel rail.. I csn actually hear the fuel in the rail.. For the resistor box I ran the wire at the strut tower wit the 2 yellow and black wires toward the ecu.. At the big white plug.. Is that where u wired ur 12 volt source..? Where I'm thinking is my problem is at the dizzy plugs.. I had a friend wire those up and he might have done them wrong.. I'm goin to go to the junk yard today or 2morrow and get the original plugs to see if they were pin-ed out and in to the right spots... He didn't solder them.. He chose to depin and then pin back into the new round plugs.. But the injector wiring I knw is right.. I did that myself and that is straight foward.. Injector 1 =A1, inj 2= A3, inj 3= A5, and inj 4= A7.. The red and black wires go to the resistor box and in no specific order..
i kno when i did tha multi swap, i forgot to run tha two original blk/yel wires that came from the dualpoint injectors to tha resistor box, i jus cut the two plugs off an ran tha grounds to tha ecu, totaly spacing the power wires for those...youll here tha fuel an everithing, it will make it to rail but injectors wont open without them...watd id do is pull the rail an jus spray a lil fuel past injectors an c if it fires, that way u kno its injector problem
