last night my buddys hx was working fine all lights were working until he went to pull a u turn and the lights in the front started flickering (h.i.d.s ) and all the other lights started doing the same he said he smelled something burning inside the car too.. we dont know wat to look for anymore .

dash lights inside dont work neither
all the fuses are good
just changed headlights swtich
check the wiring on the headlights and everything
brake lights work and the hids work when there connected strait to battery . so idk wat else to look for ..i need a digram

 

maybe a wheel rubbed against an exposed wire....since you said it didnt happen till when u made a turn

 

nope no exposed wires took the tires off and checked it out everything was fine.....what else should i do

 

this sucks lol idk wat to look for besides a short behind the dash

 

check the dimmer switch...it could be bad or burnt out from overload, my dash lights were iffy and i tracked it down to a bad dimmer switch, swap it and see what happens

 

a few people said the same thing im going to try it tomrrow when im able to get a couple extra switches

 

Timer Switch or perhaps is your relay bad?
