Hi, I have an 04 Accord Coupe with the v6 motor.

Recently i have noticed an issue while driving at night. the lights seem to dim and brighten. When i accelerate or tap the gas at all the lights dim. About a second after letting off the gas pedal the lights will brighten up again. Has anyone had to deal with this before or know what may be causing it?

Which lights are you referring to.

Sounds like a bad ground to me. Thats where I would start

 

It's a pretty common problem with the 03-04 accords. The ELD is faulty, and the underhood fuse box will need to be replaced as the ELD isn't available separately.

As long as you aren't experiencing any other issues, like difficulty starting the car, replacing the ELD is where you should start.
