ok so today i was puttin a new thermostat in my ef (by the way it's got a B18A1 swap). after i did it i went to start up the car so i could see if there was enough coolant. after i did that i cut it off for a few minutes and started it up again and raised the idle like i had been meaning to because it was idling at like 500 and the CEL which is usually on because even though it has a new o2 sensor it wasn't registering with the ECU but this time the CEL turned of for about 2 seconds then came back on and now it idles like it should but won't rev past about 3300 now.

 

anyone know anything about this??

any new cel's? but that sounds like your distributor is bad......

 

i don't know how to flash the codes to check but i got another pr4 to try today and i'm gonna see if it's fixed. but the distributer makes sense cuz lately it's only been happenin after the car warms up
