Ok need to know where the hose from the charcoal canister pvc valve looking thing on the rear of the engine block plugs into on the intake manifold.. was part of someone elses starting projects and im trying to finish it..

If someone has a pic of where it goes would be nice..

Tried searching to find a write up on the intake mani swap to see if there was any pics but cant seem to find anything...

Are you talking about the hose from the pcv valve? If so, it runs up through the hole in the IM and plugs into the lower inlet on the IM. There are also a few good write-ups with pics...google "y7 to y8 intake manifold swap"

 

searched it, good write up but this is basically all done.. Im just trying to finish someone else's project and i need to know where this one hose hooks from the pvc valve into the intake mani and i cant find which one it goes to. None of the write ups i found detail to this...


Anyone that can look at there car and at least tell me would help out alot, i will probally just stop any person in a fixed up ek ex or look on any car lot tomorrow to figure this out.. Probally the hose i have set off to side but i just wanna be sure before i go connecting hoses..

you mean the oil seperator tank? it's a black box with the PCV stuck in the top?

if i recall correctly, that line goes from the PCV, through the gap in the cyl 2 & 3 runners, and connects to the large inlet nipple on the front right of the plenum.

 

I answered your question in my first post. Also, if you look at all the pics close enough you can follow the lines and figure out where they connect. I had to do the same with my swap since some stuff was already taken apart and missing
