Default JDM ITR axles on the civic hubs

Can you guys tell me if the grooves on the JDM ITR axles will fit into the civic hubs? (99 DX civic)

And if I can use the civic spindle nut aswell?

Sorry if it's in the wrong forum. Someone can move it if it's too big of a deal...

Thanks-

No. they will not fit. You need US integra axles.

Ok thanks.

Is there going to be any difference between axles though? LS/GSR/ITR?

LS/GSR/ITR axles are all the same, they all have ABS

RS trim model is only different because it doesnt have the ABS teeth counter ring around the axle.

As for your question about the axles. Answer to it, is YES and NO.

The pre-98' Integra axles will work fine and use the 32mm axle nut.

The 98-01 requires you to use a JDM axle or a custom axle and utilizes a 36mm axle nut.

One of my friends bought a JDM ITR suspension and didnt know he could not use the USDM Integra Axle. He had a shop piece it together and they said they had to use a 92 Accord Axle? Not too sure on the exact specs.

Hope this all helps.

ALL JDM ITR axles use the larger accord/prelude hub/spline.
Easy way to make jdm itr axles is to use integra axles and put on the outer CV from
a prelude or accord.

All 94+ integra axles are the same.

Wrong, 98+ JDMITR use the 36mm. Pre-98 JDMITR uses the 32mm axle nut

All CTR use 32mm regardless of the year

Sorry, still a little confused.

This is for a 99 JDM ITR into a 99 DX.

ALL I need to do is get a set of usdm Integra axles and I'll be fine right? And not the RS.

Please be really clear with me, I have to do things quickly to get this swap done before college classes start, so I don't have time figure things out. Maybe just tell me exactly what to do.

99 JDM ITR suspension will require you to use a 36mm axle nut. So, you have to get a hold of JDM ITR axles or have a shop out here in US customize you an axle.

I have the JDM ITR axles that came with my engine. (complete swap)

I was basically wondering if they would work fine fitting into the civic hubs with the proper nut.

Come swap day, I have to make sure everything will fit because I have to drive the car away that day.

Thanks for your help, I do appreciate it. Just gotta be sure..

EDIT: I'm not swapping suspension setups.. just swapping engine.

Whats the EXACT setup you are going to run.

If you are using the Civic Hubs, they can ONLY accomodate the 32mm axle nut.

I am putting a '99 JDM ITR engine into a '99 Honda Civic DX hatchback.

All I will be doing is swapping the engine in. That's it. Nothing more.

I have the JDM Integra axles sitting with my engine. (the original ones)

I just wanted to know if they are going to work with the civic hubs.

From what I have gathered, I just need to use a set of usdm Integra axles. Correct?

Sorry to bring this post from the dead.. but my axles for my 99 JDM ITR engine are 32mm. I checked it today.

I think they changed to 36mm in 2000.

Can someone tell me I'm wrong?
