Impossible 1/4 times with 01 iTR !
This is what I've been hearing for the past month or so. Impossible, you're not stock, you have Cams, Pistons, IHE, SOMETHING !!!!!!!
Here are my mods : Ignition timming set at 18 degrees BTDC, P/S belt off, Air box resonator out, 205/50-15 DOT toyo RA1 set at 16 psi, remouved spare tire.
Everything else is 100% stock. (full interior,1/4 thank of 92 octane gas and a 185 lbs driver ME)
Am I the only one or is there somebody else somewhere that has done similar runs with so little mods ?
The track is NHRA approuved and is the altitude is 173 ft above see level.
Temperature that day was close to 80 degrees with 70% humidity.
60 ft times were: 2.17 and 2.19 sec.
The time slips are in my sig.
Not braggin here, I just want your opinions.

Shiat, I wish I could pull those kind of numbers stock, good work. Quick question, which final drive to Canadian models come with, 4.40 or 4.785?

Good job man. I'm not doubting you. I think you have 2 things going for you: 1.) You drive your R damn well, 2.) you have a very strong R from the factory (wednesday car
). Nice work..

That's an amazing time with a 2.4 second 60 ft.
Imagine what you would get with a 2.2 60 ft.

mods- AEM intake, JDM Header, open header, no PS, 2.4 60ft
...watching any event with the realtime ITR's,
you will see that ITR's performance is hardly measured by straight line acceleration.
lots of cars fly edge up on it on the straight away.
its the turns where the ITR's performance shines.

where in Canada are you located?
I thought we had it good with about 220ft above sea level but you got it even better wherever you are.
Good run!

Well done! And to think straight line acceleration is the weakest aspect of the Type R.. if it runs a quarter mile in under 14, everything else about the car is even better
