Default Which walbro fuel pump

Yo.
I have to replace my fuel pump, and I'm going to get a walbro.
I found they have different models, a 195 and a 255 lph
Which one should I get?
Also, do I have to drop my gas tank to replace the pump? I've been getting mixed answers.
Car is a 91 crx si

get the 255 so u always have room to expand in more power and not have to worry bout getting fuel supplied and having to do it again they are the same price pretty much any ways Part Number : WALBRO:GSS-341:400-965 its 93. bucks and change on ebay
you have to drop your fuel tank to put it in maybe be a good time to change fuel lines under there also sence they are almost 20 years old but they should be fine

It doesnt matter if you get the 255, your car will operate just fine. Yes you need to drop the tank, I reccommend draining it first. Also if your nuts holding the straps were anything like mine which were completely rusted, and snapped taking them off, you may need to buy new strap hooks.

well just putting the 255 in your car doesn't automatically send more fuel to your car. it just offers you the supply when you call for more fuel, if that makes sense. what I mean by that is that with your stock fuel pressure regulator and stock injectors, you are not going to be dumping more fuel into your car just buy adding an upgraded fuel pump. however, if later down the road you do a build of some sort, whether it be N/A or F/I, and you get bigger injectors and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, well you'll already have invested in the 255lph fuel pump.

but on the other side of things, if you don't plan on doing too much with the motor past a stock Honda motor, by that meaning no ridiculous N/A build or turbo build or anything else of the sort, and if the 195 is cheaper, i'd say go for the 195.

I heard that you need a different fuel pressure regulator when using the HP pump. I bought the B+M regulator but have not replaced the pump yet. I would like to know if anyone has had problems without using the FPR.
