Default OEM Dual Switch holder......DiY?

ok, i went to the junkyard yesterday in search of parts to make my own obd0 to obd1 conversion harness, and was successfull. but while pulling a PS9 from a wrecked 91 LX (yes it was fully converted over to an EX) and found a plug for the stock oe coin pocket thing.

here is the coin pocket thing from my crx....

and this is what i found at the junkyard.....

and it looks like this installed where my coin pocket was....

i know it is a different color than my dash, but i couldnt just leave it at the junkyard. but here is my plan...

has anyone ever seen one of these and converted it over for dual switches? Does anyone with the dual switch holder have any pics of the backside? if so can you post them here so i know how to convert my plug? i dont feel like paying 50-75 for the dual switch holder. thanks in advance

i got it off a 90 LX sedan. so i called honda with the part number and the parts tech was very helpfull. he looked it up and told me that it can be found in some 90 DX/LX sedans and only 91 DX sedans. he also told me that its an option, so it wont be on all of them. but i am looking for one with a matching color before i start to cut this one.

sweet I am gonna keep a lookout for one myself. I hate the pointless coin pocket or whatever its called. Why don't you practice on the non-matching one and then have a better idea on one that is color-matched?

Because I don't want to mess it up if I can't find any other ones. I called Honda and they said it will cost 11.50 for one orders 2-5 days out. So for the moment I'll wait since it's nit a priority.

Chorizo, do you still have any of them? In the darker color perhaps? Lmk

Damn you DEETZ. You always find some good deals. Everytime I find them they are pricey, and that's just theholdwr no switches.
