B16B CTR header
Running stock exhaust manifold on B16B with 2.5" collector on PWJDM telescoping test pipe. Seems to flow well, heat shield looks good. Don't really have intentions to change it but wondering if a normal b16a header the right application. What header do I need for a B16B?
This tune is a factory spec CTR tune with launch control @ 5K and shift light at 8500 rev limit @8800, With a C.A.I. it ran terrible. Put on my stock airbox with a K&N and it ran to 9K like a beast. Wondering if the header would mess up this stock tune.

You need the same primary size as a B16a header because your displacement etc. is the same. The only issue you need to be aware of is the slightly different deck height. Ask the manufacturer of a good B16a header (spoolin makes a good Toda replica and I believe SMSP has a B16 header) if theirs will have any clearance issues with the oil pan on a B16B. Its probably not a problem, as the difference is minro, but it pays to be sure.
Best of luck with your project.

^ Thanks. We tried a b16 DC 4-1 which isn't really worthy of this swap or the car
It was not tall enough to clear. So If I switch I will probably go SMS. I can find other cool stuff to buy with that grand though. I hate having my car tuned so I may just keep the stock exhaust manifold because it runs so good as HFP. Painted the heat shield so it looks good on the outside
