Default Authentic JDM EF9 Help

I am in need of some help, Going over the car again, getting it ready for summer. Im in need of Rear and Front wheel Bearings, Front Control arm Bushings,Cap and rotor and front axles. Im having a hard time getting the correct parts from the correct cars. Now I tried getting my rear bearing hubs from a 93 integra but I soon found out my rear spindles are smaller. I just hate trying parts and taking them back after they dont fit! Any help is appreciated.

if i were u i would take the old bearings out and go to autozone or similar early in the morn when they r not busy and have them c if they can match them up with some other model... and when u do find the right ones let us know for future refrence... the axels will b the same as a 93 integra ... not to sure on the control arm bushings but than again try matching them at autozone... hell tell the guy u will slip him a $20 for all his time...

If you have a real jdm civic your gonna have to use both left and right axles from a 89 integra. I spent about $700 on axles for my real ef8 sir before i found the pefect fit axles. I did end up buying real jdm axles but the 89 teg fit perfect and do not bind or click even with the car lowered.

Don't bother witj jdm axles. It's much better to convert to the 90-93 integra half-shaft so that way you can use any DA axle. Much better for future replacements.

If you have REAL JDM civic then you will run into binding issues with using the 90 teg axles and mid shaft, that's if you car is lowered or you plan on lowering it. Trust me your engine bay is different and your engine sits a good 1-1/2 inches farther to the right side of the car. Look at your alternator pulley and the left frame rail, now find someone with a civic with a B16 swap. Their alternator is almost right up against the frame rail.

You do not have a b16 swap. All the info i found were all info for b16 swapped civics/crx's. Your engine bay, mounts and sub-frame are all different. The only thing you have to do for axles is use your stock sir mid-shaft and two left and right 89 teg axles. That's it.

I found a parts dealer here in edmonton, alberta(canada) that can get parts from a japanese parts dealer. I quess it's his buddy that runs the store in japan. He ordered 2 left and right b16 axles. I already paid for the jdm axles and it took a few weeks to get. In the mean time i swapped in the 89 teg axles and all my problems where gone. Now i have brand new set of jdm axles sitting in the back of my car.

^^how much did those jdm axles run you? got a link or number to the parts dealer in edmonton?

Jasong where are you located man? I believe the key here will be to get someone who can get the parts directly from Japan because they still make brand new ef9 parts over there. im sure you can get a cap, rotor etc. brand new.
Have you checked out civicvtec.org yet? some guys over there can point us in the right direction for sure.

I have the same issues you have finding parts like these. I havnt got down to my build yet so it hasnt been urgent.

try giving Greg a call at jdmspeedworx (.com) 209-545-3200 tell him I sent you for ef9 parts. he usually has a ef shell or multiple parts laying around. & if not he will know how/where to get them. located in Northern California. damn I actually gotta hit that guy up.

^^ thankyou sir!!! looks like a great shop! i have to order from them one of these days.

so another couple questions guys. here is an example...

I want Hasport mounts for my jdm EF9. Now sure I can go to the US Hasport sight and order the "EF" mounts but they only fit our US ED's. SO if I ordered from Hasport in another country would I get the right mounts? are their different product numbers? different parts offered to different countries etc?

You can take this question & replace it with any specific part (not just Hasport mounts) & that is my question. Make sense?
