Default b16 w/lsd vs. ITR

Hello all,

I am in the process of swapping transmissions in my car. I currently drive a GSR.

Now my question is; Besides the slightly different ratios between the b16 and ITR. Is there much of a difference?

The reason why I am asking this is, I have heard that the synchros on the B16's are weaker than their B18C counterparts. However this point was only stated towards cable transmissions. Would anyone know if it is still the same in the hydro transmissions?

Thanks in advance!!!!

yeah. doesnt matter whether is cable or hydro. any b16 has weak synchros. any type R tranny will always have better synchro. especially the CTR

WRONG...............

S4C=CTR/B16A2 has the same syncros as the GSR/ITR trans

Cable B16 trans are similar to all LS trans with the single syncro in 1/2
