anything above 6k is just color. if you want brightness stick with 6k.

ebay projectors apparently are no good for swapping in HID as they were made for regular halogen bulbs. even tyc ones are no good. i know they've started bundling hid and projector lights together but i doubt the lens quality is that great. though they may have finally figured out how to stop crazy glares.

if you want real hid projection you'll have to build your own with TSX projectors or BMW E46 ones i believe

^ what he said...

but my 2 cents is to not get ebay projector headlights... i heard lots of bad things about them. if you have the patience/skill/money to retrofit... that would be the way to go.. it will give you much better results and usually for the most part looks a lot better!

good luck!

I have 55w 6k and they are insanely bright. Got 'em from ddmtuning. **** is legit for $30 with lifetime warranty.

I have ebay projectors. They aren't too horrible.. Just seal them up good. With HIDs they tend to scatter the light just a tad, but not too bad. The cutoff is fairly good as well.

Same question as OP but i have the single projector headlights that came with H1 low beams but factory headlights are H4 and the projectors have a h4 connector that splits and goes to my low beam h1 and high beam h3 i think. so what kit do I buy H1 or H4?
