EVAP monitor will not set!
long story short...the evaporative emission monitor will not reset. ive tried mostly everything.
startup IAT is 50 degrees
startup ECT is 60ish
idling car for 30 min and ECT reaches 207ish with IAT at 150ish.
tried driving car for 50mph for about 100 miles and 6 key engine off cycles. tried cruising 30 mph for 5min.
while driving on the highway, tempature is 171 from the ECT. i think the value needs to be 176-212 for the monitor to reset. i beleive this is why the monitor is not setting.
its been going on 4 days now, and i need this monitor set. i do the same thing..startup car..let idle until warm...go for drive...a couple key on engine off cycles...keep driving at 50 mph..come to stop and let car idle... tried crusing around town..gas gage is within 25-75 percent range all the time.

forgot to mention..car is an acura RSX type s 2005.
evap monitor is the ECU's way of testing the evaporative emissions system to meet fedaral standards. the ECU will use a couple sensors to see if your leaking hydrocarbons into the air.
there is a pattern the ecu must see in order to have the evap system say that it is ok. i need to know what that pattern is because its not setting according the the values that alldata and napafix tell me
