Default gsr cluster swap question

cluster works fine, except the speedo does not work. Are you suppose to use the small plug thats on the crx harness and plug it into the the gsr cluster? Thats the only thing we can think of, of why it's not working.

the crx VSS (vehicle speed sensor) is mechanical (cable driven) but all newer clusters including your gsr cluster use an electric VSS. replace the VSS and wire it up to the cluster.
good luck

thats for cruise control,

have you checked the vss wiring?

the electric VSS sensors have plastic gears, its possible that the gear is just shredded, pull it out and check it.

Look at it, if teeth are missing then it's toast. Also make sure the VSS is wired correctly.
