I just got a 00 SI and im pulling the engine and everything was going great till i got 2 removing the ac compressor it has 2 bolts holding it to the block and i got 3 of them out but the one on the top right i cant get its like below a bracket and its like sunk in unlike the other one and sits alot further in and i cant get a wrench on it and i dont wanna strip it? any ideas?

 

U cant get a hand wrench in their? To me it looks as if a hand wrench with the tip angled a little should get that baby out. I would look on my b16a2 but the a/c was removed a long time ago.

 

you need to remove the ac compressor before you get to the bracket
