Well I am wanting to reinstall the factory head unit and keep my aftermarket one in as well. I need to know what harness I need to do this? I plan on putting the aftermarket cd player down behind the cup holders.

FCM maybe he wants to retain the oem keyless entry system or maybe they want to go for a 'stealth' look. Anyway metra has a harness 70-1720T that allows what you desire.

 

That's what I figure, or maybe the dome light, but I have seen people do so even though they had aftermarket alarms in the car.

Your right, if he is sticking with the stock key-less or stock alarm then that would be the Metra harness, also available from Scosche is the HAK2B if he has the stock alarm...
