What models were offered over there?? When I was on ebay I spotted an auction for "OEM JDM SiR 90-91 accord fog lamps....

So...was I dreaming or what??

 

nope u were not dreaming some guy in an other board won them
They were even available from 90-93 as dealer installed option in North America but few people took it

 

So there IS a 4th Gen Accord "SiR" in japan??

Also anyone know the going rate for those oem fogs at the dealer?

speaking of f22b dohc, what oil filter dodo they use? from which model car here in the U.S.

 

no car was equiped with the F22B in the usdm. its closest relative is the h23a1 found in the lude' and it takes whatever oil filter the lude does.. which i assume is the std honda oil filter

F22B was found in the 92-96 Prelude Si (non vtecs) ... it sure coulda been in the Accord SiR if it exsists though too.. who knows.

BTW guys, after making some phone calls yesterday the F22B is gaining popularity. Wanna know how I know?????

2 months ago you could get one to your door for 600 bucks.

Now everyone wants 700-800 just for the engine w/no tranny. UGH UGH UGH. At those prices its hardly worth it.. just find a H23A1.

 

i know it didn't come in the usdm market i was just asking what engine would i use as a refrence when getting parts for it. so basically GimpyAccord, i am gona use the h23a1 as a refrence when getting parts

 

I have OEM 4th gen fogs for sale if you want them I just took themoff my cat they were dealerinstalled

come december my buddy is gonna de stationed in Iwakuni 30min outside Heroshima. i'm gonna try to work something out with him so i can get the mad JDM hook up.

 

how much? Also teamdynasty the fogs are discontinued and there are no more new sets anywhere. And howitt what year was your car again? and Im not sure if there was an sir model but there definetly was an si

 

Just FYI guys, those fogs are on alot on 4thgens up here in Ontario. The bumper seems to be quite different on the models with fogs. On the 92/3 the fogs are roughly the same shape as the bumper lense and is right below it.
