i have an 07 accord, and it has the factory stero.. I also have a converter box for my pre-amp signal and have a way to run power, and have a ground. now all I need is my "remote". What is a good place to tap into for power to turn the amp on? was there a factory amp/sub package on these cars, that there would be a remote in the trunk? i know there is no power antenna seeing that my car has the antenna in the rear window... I dont want to have to rip my entire dash apart just to get a ignition source for the amp Thanks for the help, i greatly appreciate it.

Find a switchable power source in the fuse panel. I have my amps hooked up in my truck like that because I retained the factory deck, eq, and changer. Good place to start. If you can find a switchable source in the trunk that would def be an easier way to go due to not having to run the extra wire through the car.
