Default Car antenna missing, buying aftermarket, need help

Hey guys, I bought my 2002 Infiniti G20 Sport with a shaved antenna, so the radio reception isn't great since it's missing the antenna.

Surprisingly I get a few channels when I'm within range, but I would like to install something to get better reception.

I'm not exactly sure what I need but I want to buy something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Hidden-Antenna.../dp/B001QYSXAS

but it looks it uses this type of cable:

I took a picture of my trunk and I have these two things:

Is there some sort of adapter I can use to make this work?

You will need the ant. adapter that plugs into the back of the stock HU, [Metra 40-NI21] then you can plug your "hidden antenna" into it.
The one you show is the 40-NI30 that would plug into the stock ant. when changing the HU to aftermarket. 94

Doh that makes sense. And I guess I don't necessarily need to route the antenna all the way to the back, I can probably leave it inside the dash somewhere (though not sure if that will give the most optimal reception). I'll try it out, thanks!

Not to Hijack your Thread, but I have a bad experience with that Hidden antenna you have to find a great location for it to work properly, I tried it in the trunk, bumper, back window.

FCM, Is that antenna can be hidden or this is only can be put in the windshield?

It is best installed on the windshield or any window, however I have installed them under fiberglass trunk lids and even under dash pads. 94

No thanks for the feedback bopbop! I'll do some more research to see what my best option is. Do you have any recommendations? fcm?

Sorry no, I have not used the hidden ant., I would move it around to diff. spots before permanently mounting it. 94
