That looks like a 1992-1995 Si/EX ECU.

Awesome for reprogramming to run any DOHC VTEC motor with a non-dual butterfly intake manifold, like the B18C5, B16A, LS/VTEC, B20/VTEC, etc.

...Or just perfect to run any SOHC VTEC motor.

Usually if it was an auto ECU the last 3 digits would be A51.

Got a question for you Tom.

My wife has a 1996 Civic EX. I like the car, but need more power. SHE, on the other hand needs an automatic.

What I want is a DOHC VTEC with an automatic transmission.

What I'll need to do is to get an automatic from an LS, and mate it to either an Integra Type R motor, or a GSR.

Problem: ECU. No US DOHC automatic VTEC ECU's, though. Especially not one with dual butterflies. I've had thoughts of getting a p28 automatic ECU, and getting it chipped and doing the Acura ITR motor with the LS automatic transmission.

Know anybody that can chip a p28 automatic ECU?

Shawn

That's Kenji Plennert's e-mail addy. Let him do your ECU. He did mine and many others on the MB here, and he kicks ***.
