my 1st honda 90 crx si i bought it a while back for my winter project and just now starting to really get into it. bought it for 400 bucks complete except front bumper. it had a d16a6 with a y8 head head was off and pistions were pulled. i pulled the motor and then let it sit for a while. i sold my 2nd honda 92eg so i could start this project.

since i started getting into it

looks pretty damn clean have fun man my 91civic is a slow moving project i jump from my civic to my 4 door 93integra to my 02 maxima

 

only 4 surface rust spots on the door but its getting replaced

 

nice shell for a project. since you got rotas you have give me those si's.

hey did you have to get the block and/or girdle notched to fit those rods? i know with eagle h-beams you have to notch the block. not always the girdle though, it's kinda strange lol.

 

yes its getting notched! and tails are get replaced with 91 si this weekend

only got the back driverside coilover on and adjust my fronts and put on my drilled and slotted rotors. the bolts are a pain to break lose snapped one and stripped the passenger side

tomorrow going to finish up the suspension for now and get the tails in and few other thing. might start looking at opition to wire tuck

 

thats the first time iv seen someone pull the pistons and leave the tranny bolted up lol but ***** clean and coming together keep us posted.

 

yea previous owner did that. but ill get more pics today of the new stance!

 

NEED HELP!

i cant not for the life of me get the bolts to break lose in the rear supsension ive stripped them cut them and they wont come out

any ideas to get the free! idc if i mess up the old supsension

 

if you don't care about the rear suspension pieces then a good cutting torch should do the trick, lol. nice progress so far. I'm also digging on the K5 in the first pics. A friend of mine is picking one up in 2 days that is very similar to yours. If you don't mind I'll post a pic of it when he gets it. keep up the good work.

 

yea its my other projectthats been way neglected but so as spring comes she will be running! got about 7000 into it and needs about another 2000 lol but we will see.

tomorrow going to try to just disassemble the whole rear suspension and swap in the 91 si rear end so hopefully no more bolts strip the stance was so nice the other day iwishi could just getit done ill keep ya posted

 

no workin on it today. big snow storm and no electicity so hopefully wedesday i can tear back into the rear suspension!

well went out today and bought a value cover for my newer a6 head i bought over weekend. and got some corner lights and turn sigal lights that go in the bumper for free

 

Damn where are my manners, lol. Nice work so far my friend. I'm diggin on seeing all the EF builds here. And I love the fact you are sticking with the D series. A little out of the norm is never a bad thing, lol.

 

lol thanks man appereant it. lots of build threads are poppin up def a come back lovin it tho. yea i would have went na b but really wanted to go with the vitara and h beams with a lil boost and see how that goes.

 

power back on at my house so tomorrow ill be going in the garage lights heat air compressor and tackling the rear supsension. taking out the 90 old supsension and putting the the 91 fresh and clean in. just hope i dont break any more bolts or strip them. cant wait til its sits in its new stance and get pics after that im gonig to look into mild wire tuck but we will see ill get lots of pics tomorrow

probly cause i been slackin. well tomorrow im going to be hopefully finishing up the supsenison soi can move on to other lilttle thnigs while i wait for that box of new interals.
