Default eg h22a when shifting engine stays high?

I have a h22a with m2b4 tranny and when i redline it in first and shift to second the rpm drops like regular and then it seems like the motor isn't connecting and is giving a high rev, then it connects like spilt second later. It's not like when you red line it and it connects right away after you shift. Could this be cause of the tire burning out on second? Cause I did hear tires skidding out too but the I'm not to sure too. I am thinking that the clutch is slipping and its not grabbing right away, will that cause this kind of issue to happen?

Bump? After one minute?

Assuming you know how to drive a manual transmission vehicle...yes it sounds like your clutch is slipping.

I would second that. It sounds like a slipping clutch, or like you said your tires are spinning. When it happens next time listen for the tires spinning.

Yes I know how to drive that's why I ask about this question duh
but yes I did hear tires spinning also when I slammed it into second it did that high rev and i was listening for tire peel and it peeled but it didn't catch like the torque wasn't tranfered right away to the clutch and so on. Let me try it again tomorrow and I'll post it up on the results.

What will cause this? Abusive/aggressive driving, clutch dumping, excessive clutch slipping upon stop and go, oil saturation due to engine oil leaks, riding the clutch, normal wear and tear, etc.

How old is the clutch? From what you described, the clutch is shot!

I granny drive it from work and back only and I have gone to the track twice only. once in a long long while I'll redline it but no clutch dumping. I know there's no oil leaks. I must say though that when I normal shift the flywheel spins up at the rpm and doesn't drop where I shift at. So let's say I shift at 3(just pressing down on the clutch with no gas)it will stay at 3 for a split second or if i shift it fast the rpm will go up like a few hundreds of rpm and then when the clutch grabs it will catch.

Did this issue progressively get worse? Did it pop up one day?

..or did it exist right after swapping or tuning the engine? Do you have any codes? P28? P13?

details!

I bought the car with the swap in it already. When I first test drove it, it was fine and pulled and the clutch grab with no problem. This problem started when I park the car for a while and just started it up and park it again. When I took it out for a spin this was what happened to me. I did a oil change and it seems like it went away. Now it's here again. Imma get the oil changed and lets see if this problem goes away, but then old oil(5w30 royal purple)wouldn't effect it like this would it? I have a JDM p13

I also have this light problem that is when I turn the light on it revs higher and when I turn it off it idles back to normal. This happens only when head lights are on, park lights are okay though. Wiring issue?
