Default 91 hatch trying to add a cluster with tach

Alright i have a 91 hatch dual point and i pulled a cluster out of a 91 4 door and found out it does have a different shape to it but what i was most concerened about was how do i get this thing to work? Do i need to do some pin swaping or what? I plugged it in and the tach didnt work. So can anyone point me in the right direction. I was hoping it was plug and play but i hoped wrong lol..

One thing a lot of people forget about these oem clusters beside the two different styles 88/89 and 90/91 styles is that there are also 2 different manufactures of the clusters, and they can not be inter changed.

One company is NS and the other is ND...it is stamped right on the face of one of the main gauges in white
