Alright i have a 91 hatch dual point and i pulled a cluster out of a 91 4 door and found out it does have a different shape to it but what i was most concerened about was how do i get this thing to work? Do i need to do some pin swaping or what? I plugged it in and the tach didnt work. So can anyone point me in the right direction. I was hoping it was plug and play but i hoped wrong lol..
if its a different shape its probabli 88-89 cluster, 90-91 crx-hatch-4 doe-(an maybe wagovan), are plug an play, theres a thread on here some discussin how to identify the two
My hatch was an auto, i got a new cluster with a tach but havent put it in yet cause i wasnt sure if was just plug in and go???? Anybody know???
Thanks
Thanks
i think it is i know i put in a auto one in mine but my tac didnt work so mybe the cluster was defective so go ahead and try it its not hard or time consuming to do it let us know how it goes
Well i put it on there, the was a few things different. But it totally did NOT work. So not sure what the next move is, ill have my buddy take a look at it unless someone has got some new idea's?
One thing a lot of people forget about these oem clusters beside the two different styles 88/89 and 90/91 styles is that there are also 2 different manufactures of the clusters, and they can not be inter changed.
One company is NS and the other is ND...it is stamped right on the face of one of the main gauges in white
