Default 411,000 Miles

I dropped off my UA9 for the local Honda guy to do some labour intensive cosmetic work to it.

On the way home in his loaner car...I notice it had 411,000 miles on it.

Feels a little loose from suspension just wearing out but really feels just fine, otherwise.

This causes me to wax all nostalgic over my Honda origins. The loaner car is a 1989 Civic Wagon, and reminds me very much of my very first Honda, a 1989 DX Hatch.

:-)

Honda couldn't do anything wrong back then.

Motor was fine, gearbox fine. Handling a little sloppy, felt kind of worn out and loose.

Other than that, I felt right at home. Just like it was 1989 again. :-)

Ahhh that explains it! Pretty sweet though, and at least they gave you a loaner.

That's sweet! My 91 Sedan has 265K on the clock and runs like a champ. Doesn't leak or burn oil and the A/C still blows cold as ice!

Wow! I can only hope my CRX will last that long! So far, I am at 250,000 miles and it's still running strong!

Gotta love these damn Honda's!
