i got a DC ceramic coated header for my LS from a buddy, it was just missing a mid pipe. Well, the same kid hooked me up with a D series DC mid-pipe that hooked right up to the header but i'm not sure if the mid pipe will clear the oil pan on my LS. Anyone know if this will work before i go tearing my stock manifold off of my car? Also, i noticed the flange at the end of the mid pipe is turned 180* different than the stock LS manifold's flange...but i think i'm just gonna cut that off and weld some flex pipe to it.

I had a B serie downpipe on my D serie, that didn't work out right...Had to cut n reweld the downpipe to make it fit, it was a little bit longer compared to D series.

So yea you might wanna get one of those bendable ones and weld

 

yeah, the flex pipe will sorta be my crutch if the flange doesn't bolt up right, i just wanna be sure that the mid-pipe clears the oil-pan.
