I'm looking for new seats for my 00 Si and was debating between Del Sols or USDM ITR's. Any idea which would be more comfortable?? I've sat in the Del Sols and like them but have never even been close to an ITR. Thanks.

i have a set of both, personally i prefer my del sol seats

 

I have a set of Del Sols, they were so comfy i took them out of my '98 Civic when i sold it to put in my hatch. that is until the recaro SRd's come in.

 

All I know is that ITR seats will cost a lot more than Del Sol seats...

 

del sol seats are really nice. my bf's dad has a del sol and we whip around in it sometimes. they kinda hug you. lol.

 

type r seats look a little better then the del sols, but if your on a budget i would get the del sols

 

I've got 1997 GS-R seats - very similiar to ITR, but slightly stiffer seat bottoms - and my Mom's Del Sol seats feel so much better.

They hold you in better, and they sure are going to be cheaper too.

Oh yeah, and 99% of the ITR seats I've seen have wear on the driver's left side bolster because the fake suede wears out from getting in and out of the car.

 

Thanks for all the feedback!!! I'm leaning towards the Del Sol's because of cost for one, and two, I have actually sat in them. Now I just need to find a decent pair at a decent cost!

 

i just installed my sol seat in my ek, about 2 weeks ago. is this the best part of my interior or what. moderate installation, feels so comfy(you just have to get used to it), and almost feels like bucket seats.

found mine on thepartstrader. $200 for a pair. in great condition. seats were off the sol si. you can find anything on thepartstrader. good luck.

 

Be sure and tell us what you end up doing because I am planning on getting Del Sol seats.

My roommate has an ITR and the seats are great for racing but they get uncomfortable on long trips.

 

when you get whatever you get if you want to sell the old ones let me know i MIGHT know someone that might want them
