I have a S80 Trans, cant tell if it is a LS or GSR. Want to buy a OBX LSD and need to know which one to buy. Will the GSR LSD work if the tranny is a LS?

Yes the diff from a LS will work w/ the GSR counter shaft. All you need to do is swap the ring gear around the diff and your golden.

 

Tranny has no 'bar' you can see through the axel hole, does that mean it has LSD?

 

Usually Yes.... Take a picture cause you may already have LSD in that case it could be an ITR trans....

 

if you can see thru the axle hole than it has lsd. also, obx lsd is not good. has problems with it unless you do something to it...i forgot what it was.

if its the original lsd tranny then it should have lsd stamped on it.

 

You never know though. My trans I broke the clutch housing so I have a GSR Clutch housing on it.

If you can see through the axel shaft hole then yes it is prolly a LSD. Only way to find out what LSD you have is pull the trans apart and check the diff casting ID
