The production units are silver.
I heard they made the units less pretty so less Americans would ask about them.

Oil pan retails for 260,000 yen. (2,193.54 USD)
Block brace retails for 240,00 yen. 2,024.80 USD

And I beleive they have to be used together as the oil pan fits the brace which fits the block, the oil pan does not fit the block directly.
EDIT:
I'll never know why we didn't get an aluminum oil pan with cooling fins from the factory considering Civic EXs have them stock.

The oil pan has a chunk missing from the bottom left hand corner, a chunk which you will notice is cunningly filled in on the block brace.
