damn forreals? yoshi what does the ones he is selling look like..?
Here you go, my uninformed friend. Oil pan is on the right by the way, just in case...

You're probably not going to be interested in the product anymore, it's not as pretty looking, and it doesn't say "Spoon" on it.

Only the prototype was blue.

The production units are silver.

I heard they made the units less pretty so less Americans would ask about them.

I have seen them advertised on a couple of Japanese web sites, the oil pan was priced at over 2000 USD and the block brace was about the same, gulp.

Oil pan retails for 260,000 yen. (2,193.54 USD)

Block brace retails for 240,00 yen. 2,024.80 USD
And I beleive they have to be used together as the oil pan fits the brace which fits the block, the oil pan does not fit the block directly.

Yes, excellent marketing strategy.

EDIT:

I'll never know why we didn't get an aluminum oil pan with cooling fins from the factory considering Civic EXs have them stock.

Yes, excellent marketing strategy.
The oil pan has a chunk missing from the bottom left hand corner, a chunk which you will notice is cunningly filled in on the block brace.

Can't believe it's so expensive. I remember buying a finned sump extention of my old VW Beetle and it cost about 60 dollars.
