I have two blown front speakers in my Honda Civic. Is there a guide or ideas on ways to replace them?

 

Rears/Fronts are 6.5"

Tweeter in the front I have no clue but most tweeters are similar sized.

 

Is it an DX/LX/EX/Si?

I know in the LX, the speakers are 6.5" in both front doors & in the rear deck. The LX does not have any tweeters seperate from the speakers.

 

Haha yeah you're right. I forgot to add that. The LX has a speaker slot for a tweeter on the dash but there's nothing inside.

Be careful of the speaker depth, the doorframe is kind of narrow and you can run into issues with the side windows not rolling down.

 

Just call crutchfield and don't be a cowboy. They will tell you what you need. I changed the speakers in my SI and I think I had to get 5 1/4" in the back because aftermarket 6.5's don't fit. Most aftermarket magnet are too large so you need slim design speakers. You cannot change the tweeters with out custom mounting them.
