car drives/sounds like sh!t!
hey everyone i just got done with my swap and finally got her off the jackstands tonight. I replaced UCA's, lower ball joints, and tie rod ends. If it helps i did a DA front brake/hub swap. so i pull my car out of the driveway and start driving, up to 5mph it's fine as soon as i get 10-15 it sounds like my car is gonna commit suicide. the biggest thing is like a clunking noise and super bad wheel/car/everything vibration. i'm thinking i messed up somewhere along the lines of tie rod ends and everything else in the front suspension. i'm hoping an alignment will cure this problem, but if anyone has any ideas i would greatly appreciate some input. thanks in advance
did that twice, everything is torqued to spec. and there is no movement in anything if i try to shake the front end with the tires on, it's solid as hell.
motor mounts are fine. it does'nt clunk until i hit about 15 then when i slow down it clunks all the way to a dead stop and then it will lightly clunk as im driving whether it be 2 mph or 10 mph. axle's are all the way in and torqued to spec. i have no idea what this could be, i just double checked all my ball joints/tie rod ends and tightened em even more. when i initially take off it sounds like there is a rubbing sound like my brakes are permanently locked up or some ****, idk how to explain it

it's way dark and i have no camera lol. i'm gonna take it to an alignment shop tomorrow and hope that will straighten stuff out if not then i guess a mechanic =(
Idk what scrubbing is but it sounds like my tires are shredding against the pavement, and it is EXTREMELY difficult to steer, the wheel is all over the place and at times its very loose and wobbly and other times very hard to turn the wheel
i've triple checked and tightened everything, is there anything i could be missing?

you said you replaced your tie rod ends. did you expect the car to be perfectly able to drive before an alignment w/o using a proper alignment method? let us know if the alignment fixes it. i bet it will...
Wolfsbain- i was gonna do that but it's too late now lol i feel like droppin dead im so tired.
DCRB- i didn't expect it to drive like anything incredible, but i was hoping i'd be able to drive it over 10 mph without fearing for my life lol. I really hope the alignment helps, guess ill find out tomorrow.

so i got it aligned today and it helped a bit but now it vibrates SUPER bad when going straight and even worse when turning left, BUT it's nice and smooth super quiet when i turn right! any suggestions?
so today i did both wheel bearings, new axles, new rotors/pads, new steering rack, and another alignment. Didn't fix it. My friend says hey i know, it's your ride height causing axle bind. I said there is no way because the car has been the same ride height for over a year. He reaches up, spins my sleeve a few times, we get it off the rack and sure enough it drives like it's a new car.
I feel like my suspension pwnd me =(

was it too high or low? i'm having an issue with a car right now that wobbles like crazy. the faster you go the faster but yet smoother the wobble.
