Default B20 crank

Just wondering how many people balanced their rotating assemblies in their B20v's and where it was done at? If you did not balance how long has your motor lasted?

Default Re: B20 crank

I always have the crank checked for balance issues and make sure all my pistons weight with in a gram of each other (if not less) and same with the big and small end of the rods. It's been my experiance that honda does an amazing job of balancing from the factory. Only time I would really worry about it is if I replaced just one rod or one piston. I haven't had to balance anything but factory replacement parts, like my B16B pistons were way off from each other. I couldn't tell u for sure I had any engine failure just because the engine wasn't balanced tho.
