Where to buy header gasket ??? d series dc sport header
Hey guys my friend gave me a dc sport header for the mini build I am doing to my new crx si. I have the gasket to the head, and can easily find the gasket to the cat, but I can not find the gasket that goes in between the two pieces of the header anywhere. Anyone have a link to where I can order or know where I can go?
Any auto parts store will have material in stock so you can make your own gasket.
But did that header come with the two "rings" that sat in between the two pieces?
And have you tried contacting whoever owns DC now (AEM?)? Seems like a little legwork is needed on your part.

I do not know who owns them now or I would try to contact them. i have done legwork searched all online, search other forums, and searched this forum. all the cheap *** ebay headers come with the gasket I am looking for, but they are exactly that... cheap
also I was not trying to be smart in my last post, I have limited access at work I can not get on any shopping sites ( not even hondamarketplace ) so that is why I am asking for help.
Seriously dude....

How hard was that? Go home, get on the internets then make some calls. I'm not trying to be smart either, but they will know exactly what you need. Chances are not a lot of folks have replaced that gasket.

Thanks for the link. I figured chances are a lot of folks have replaced that gasket, but none have chimmed in saying where they bought it.
I specifically bought a one-piece DC SS (back when they still made them) just because a 2-piece wasn't needed.
So this thread isn't useless. I took todd's advice and emailed dc sport. There reply was oem honda part number 18212-sb2-961 is what I need to order in this situation.
i had the same situation with my greddy header and i just bought a gasket on ebay but i think it still leaks.
what material is the honda gasket?
i went to EVERY car part store in virginia beach and no one was willing to actually look for a part. i was like, its aftermarket... but i know there are headers that have the exact same size and i dont know exactly what year or model and they were too lazy.

I will post pictures once it comes in and so we will know for sure. I feel good that dc sports themselves said use the oem part number
just typing that code in on google shows that its used pretty standard for a lot of hondas and acuras.
looks like its the right part. prob wouldnt spend all the money at honda though im sure theyll rip you off
