Sorry but i dont understand what is the difference? I am being offered a cage for a teg where the two rear bars go to the strut tower but im not sure if this will actually fit a civic coupe 92-95... anyone has experience of this. Are they the same chassis?

buy the correct care for your chassis or have a custom one done from a good cage builder.

First lets look at the chassis. DC & EG.
Many parts are interchangeable but thats where similarities stop.
Each company makes their cages according the dimensions of the interior of the car.
DC and EG are not the same, or they would look the same.

As far as i know there are no "Universal" cages. one size does not fit all.
Buy whats made for your chassis or pay someone to properly build one for your specific application.
Altering a premade cage or rollbar designed for another chassis just isn't safe.
