Default Odb2a LS in 93 EG 4 door - wiring compatibility

ok, so we finished swapping in our budget build LS 4 door. plugged everything up and tried to start it. nothing. NO FIRE to plugs. listed below is complete specs of everything.

**Car**
1993 Civic LX manual
stock d15b7 OBD1 ecu
single cam harness from ecu to shock tower plugs.

**Motor**
1996 LS manual SI trans
ODB2a Engine wiring harness

it will not fire, will not start.

Motor ran fine in the integra, it now will not run because (my guess) of the wiring.

also have pics of the plugs on the shock towers.

Are there wiring differences? does any one have the eg non vtec manual and DC4 ls manual pin out for the shock towers?

The harness should be just plug and play. Check to make sure you have all your grounds connected, and that your spark plug wires are in the correct order. If that checks out, check for spark and make sure your fuel pump is working.

All i need is the damn pin outs on the eg shock tower and the dc4 obd2a,

everything is working as it should be, all grounds are on, plugs are in, dizzy is in, nothing funny, pulled out of a running car (changed nothing) put it in another running car (removed motor only

the plugs should only have extra pins for the newer sensors on the obd2a which my obd1 ecuy will not recognize any way.

Shouldn't you be using an obd1 ecu out of a manual 95 or 94 Integra if you are staying obd1 in the civic chassis. Like a p75 ecu from an obd1 integ.

I am thinking a obd1 dizzy too. <------- my question too

Mi hamster run real fast...

and i really dont want to resort to a single cam harness. these are plug and play, i just need the pin outs for the shock towers. as for the ecu, i know it will not run at its full potential. i will deal with that later.

single cam harness is plug and play..
obd1 and obd2 are differnt if you just use the single cam harness your keeping the same obd1..
but if you insist your way then have fun with your never ending headache.
what its gonna hurt if you have a single cam harness anyway?
edit: and if you keep the whole motor obd2 its never gonna start with an obd2 dizzy
put the single cam harness on and your gonna need an obd1 ls dizzy

Neither one of you guys have a clue. OBD2A integra engine harness + OBD1 Civic underdash/cabin harness + OBD1 ECU = 100% plug and play setup. OBD1 and OBD2 D and B-series distributors are electically identical, the only difference is the physical plug(s). To the OP pinouts are the same, there is no repining involved, check the thermostat ground and make sure its clean and tight. BTW you will also need to unplug the connector plugged into the firewall mounted MAP sensor and plug it into the throttle body mount MAP sensor on the B18.

Edit, to anyone that doesn't believe you can use an OBD2 engine harness in an OBD1 civic or DC Integra, please see exhibit A below:

I knew they were plug and play, the usdm obd2 uses more wires than the obd1, but all obd1 necessary sensors are wired, just the obd2 are not, but they are not used any way.

FOR ME the issue was with the ECU, so in turn, swapping it with another ecu (even though it was an auto ecu) it ran the car fine, just threw a CEL.

thanks for any and all help.

Ok so I can use let's say a 96 integ ls motor harness in a 92 civic cx hatch. Then put an obd1 p75 ecu in the car and it will be good. And also then use the dizzy that came with the motor of the 96 integ?
