Icon3 93 Hatch suspensioin Please Help someone!!!

Hi Fellas, I recently purchased a 93 hatch with stock struts and cut stock springs. Needless to say it rode like a radio flyer. So i bought new struts, all parts stores stated that the rear struts are different than the 93 coupe. They did say the front struts were the same part number. So i went to the junk yard to get springs for the struts i saw them take the rear springs off of a eg hatch. They stated that they didn't have any front coils for the hatch and they gave me coupe ones, my car though is sitting like a 4x4 in the front. Are 93 coupe colis the same as hatch coils? Someone please shed some light on this issue for me. Thanks for your time!

they are the same. if you had cut ones on and you put stock ones back on youl notice how high Honda had them from the factory. you can almost fit bigo mudding tires on...
part stores will give you the worst advice. use specific forums to find your answers.
get kybs and some cheapy coilvers. cheap and effective.

The part numbers for the front springs are the same. (rears are not the same)

as rick_rabies said, keep mind the stock height of the civic.

My back is sitting at he height of the cars in the pics, but for some reason my front is way up. Ive put another set of civic coils and struts on the car with the same results, it's weird i dunno, i'm stumped.

After calling honda, I found that yes the front struts are the same but the coils themselves are different on the front. This def answers the question why my car was sitting high in the front i had coupe coils on it.

did some part number searching...

springs
93 EX coupe manual trans - 51401-SR0-N01 (or N02)
93 EX coupe auto trans - 51401-SR0-E02
93 SI hatch manual trans - 51401-SR0-N01 (or N02)
93 DX hatch auto trans - 51401-SR0-N01 (or N02)
93 DX sedan manual trans - 51401-SR0-K01
93 DX sedan auto trans - 51401-SR0-E02

shock
93 EX coupe manual trans
R - 51605-SR0-023
L - 51606-SR0-003 (or 023)

93 EX coupe auto trans
R - 51605-SR0-023
L - 51606-SR0-003 (or 023)

93 SI hatch manual trans
R - 51605-SR0-023
L - 51606-SR0-003 (or 023)

93 DX hatch auto trans
R - 51605-SR0-023
L - 51606-SR0-003 (or 023)

93 DX sedan manual trans
R - 51605-SR0-023
L - 51606-SR0-003 (or 023)

93 DX sedan auto trans
R - 51605-SR0-023
L - 51606-SR0-003 (or 023)

so the springs could be the same, they may also be different, depending on trans type.
I forget how much heavier the auto trans is in a honda.

Guys I do not know what to do, ive put new honda eg hatch coils on the front as well as struts. The springs that i put on the front and rear are new honda coils for a hatch that is manual transmission. My car is manual trans. The front control arms are stock, on the rear new honda eg hatch coils and new struts also. This car is riding at 27" from the ground in the front, the rear looks normal but, the front rides so high its crazy. The front sway bar is not bent. I do not know what to do, someone please help here!!

new shocks will ride super high, you have to wear them in.
we dont struts they are all shocks. struts suck...thats why ford uses them
so your concern is the ride heigth or quality?
springs (coils) should be the same for 92-00.
for 91 i think they were a tad shorter.
