I made this thread mostly because I want to know what's happening in the upstate since we've been moved out of Petsmart and CiCi's. If any one hears anything about a meet or a race event happening post it here (doesn't have to be illegal lol). I want to be more in the scene but it's hard when you don't know where to go. Also share your stories about stuff that happens in the garage, on the street, or at the track. If you want a meet to happen make it here I want to revive the upstate. I want to be as big a the charleston scene.

We are heading out there. I attended last year's event and liked it a lot. There are classes for all kinds of cars as well as test and tune.

It would be great to see a whole bunch of Upstate cars, there!

Racers pay $25 and spectators pay $15 with the coupon (which you can print from the web site). There are classes for everyone, from street cars to all-out race cars.

Import Hot Rod Garage is a part-time business I started in '05. We have a DynoDynamics and mainly do dyno pulls for customers.

Did you have that really nice '88-'91 black Hatch with the red pin stripe on it? I really liked that car. If so, what happened to it? I saw it sitting on blocks for a while and then it was suddenly gone.

 

No I don't I wish I hade a ef or an eg. But I got a 96 civic sedan currently in the not running mode. I blew the motor and tryin to get a job so I can get a motor. I have a d16y7 but it's done now. If you wanna help me out with some type of job I'll be more than happy to do anything. I take auto tech over at RD Anderson (trade school for Spartanburg county). Btw I asked if that was yours cuz my friend has one just like that but he doesn't have the cf hood.

Ok so a bunch of us are meeting next saturday to go the formula drift proam event at the lowes motor speedway. Idk where were meeting for breakfest yet but I'm thinking maybe waffle house or Dennys right off 26 near downtown Spartanburg. Well meet at 8 for breakfest and prob be back between 4-7. There are 45 cars in the field so will be there for quailfing and the tandam events.

 

I'm currently in Forest City, NC.. Just moved here 6 days ago.
