I just received a mugen ek9 intake to install in my 00 Civic SI. I have a 2001 B18c1 with all options still available such as Power Steering, A/C, and an OEM Radiator/Fan. I also have a Skunk2 Intake manifold with an Si OEM intake arm. I've never had any problems installing an intake before. I've owned an AEM Cold Air Intake, K&N Intake, JDM TopFuel Power Chamber Intake, Comptech Intake with Comptech Cold Air Box, complete JDM ARC Intake with ARC Air Box, and i've never had any problems installing them until this one. I can't seem to get it to squeeze into the area where it's supposed to. Any help would be appreciated from fellow or former mugen intake owners.

 

Try cutting/sanding to make the hole bigger for it to fit?

 

You will have issues with the AC pipings coz the EK9s AC runs on left.

 

Is it easy to remove the A/C?

 

You dont need to remove the AC pipings. You just have to modify some brackets.

Maybe post a picture or be more descriptive as to where the intake is not fitting.
