I have a 1994 Accord LX that has paint bubbling in the left rear panel. I sanded it down and it looks like they used a filler over the metal and I am repairing it so I need to know what I can do to keep the paint from bubbling up again?
thanks

Its mainly how well the body shop did that will keep the paint from bubbling... It shouldn't do that in the first place but means theres rust under it. Best thing you can do is keep up on the paintjob (Washing and waxing) and make sure all chips get taken care of.

i sanded down to bare metal and ther is no rust and that is why I am dumbfounded as to why the paint bubbled
yea thats a thing you have to watch out for...the actuall surface of the car has to be 100% clean or else the paint will bunch up and "orange peel" which is when the paint takes on a patter like that of an orange peel. Sometimes when this happens, little gaps will form and water will seep through causing rust and bubbles. Hope this helps! Good luck!!
