I am picking up a shell and a motor soon so I am testing the waters to see what I can get for my 97 EJ8. I know that selling a car in these times is a slow process so I figured I would start now.

$2800 - buyer smogs and aligns (have the "not so" old smog to prove it passes)

$3000 - I smog and align

$3300 - I smog, align and give you the BNIB OEM items (mud guards and floor mats), stock USED OEM springs, Spoon (rep) poly lip, and eBay coilovers

This car is well maintained and mechanically sound. The interior is very clean (just detailed).

Car was purchased from HT member "rexone" in November of 08.

Pros:

Practically stock aside from the H&R springs on stock shocks
Clean title
Low miles on rebuilt motor
Runs well (no overheating)
No grinds
Never raced
Adult owned
New clutch + clutch cylinder (resurfaced flywheel also - have receipt 8/X/09)
Recent tune up when clutch was installed (have receipt, 8/X/09)
New pads all around and new front rotors (1/X/10)
Recent oil change
Current tags


Cons:

Chip on windshield (previous owner; hasn't enlarged)

Oxidation on paint with normal dings/scratches for 13 y/o car (I think I counted 2 tiny dings)

Camber wear on tires (steelies with 75% tread are easy to find and cheap)

AC blows cold, but MAY need a recharge soon *EDIT* as of 2/14/10 the AC seems to be blowing cold

OEM radio volume button is tricky at times, but still works (have spare OEM radio for parts, not a big deal as I have dealt with it for over a year now)

"EX" emblem on the back is held on by double sided tape (easy to remove and clean up, I may do it myself. Not a "con" really)

D16y8 IACV (bought off of eBay, but never installed because CEL disappeared)

Spare cruise control and hazard button (bought some off a HT member because the ones in the car have the clear coat chipping off. They still work fine, but I dont like the way they look because Im picky)
