Replacement Key?
hey i had a questions.. well a couple actually.
I lost the keys to my honda accord 2001. im in mexico at the time.
would it be better to order a replacement key from a dealership in the states.. how do i go about doing that??

Due to the immobilizer, your best bet might be a locksmith. Some locksmiths can cut a replacement key and program the ECU. I don't know how hard it will be in Mexico. You may have to get it towed out of Mexico back to the states and then call a locksmith.
I have lost my key and went to the Honda dealership. Using my VIN he could order a replacement key and then program my immobilizer to accept the new key (only takes 10').
I had a spare key so I could drive the car to the dealership. Cost for the new key was a bit over $200.
