I have done research and I just wanted to get advice from other S2000 owners. I have a Grand P White S2k with Black TE rims. I like the OEM hardtop but I having a hard time deciding on the color of the HT. Black or White? I don't like the carbon fiber hood look on a white S2k but I seen the HT black on a white S2k and it looks clean but also White on White looks clean. Can I get some input?

White hardtop will be imo the better choice. You can see the body lines of the car, and it looks amazing.

 

I'm going through the same dilemma on my GPW. I've tossed the idea around of a black hardtop, but I think I'm gonna end up painting it white.

if u ever plan on selling the car/hardtop the black will go within minutes... also, i like the 2 tone look...

 

go with the black one because it will look better with you car and it will look good with the black rims that you have on.

 

Both have their pro's and con's. I think in terms of the body itself white on white will look the sexiest. In terms of keeping a two tone color flow I think black would be better. That's just me.

Last picture looks sick... See I would do the black hard top but for some reason I don't like carbon fiber hoods on S2k. But on your car I think the Carbon FHT looks better than your white HT.

 

I plan to paint the hood except for the vented area and the trunk and the top, when i do a color change here in the near future

 

I'm definitely a fan of all color matched body panels. Unless the car has a very aggressive look, then it might be acceptable to have different colored panels. But in that case, I'd be embarrassed to drive it around on the street at my age.

Black will have better resale value as it works on every other s2k color.

If you do go white, take off the windshield tape! (I did vote for white) Otherwise go with a black top. One thing about black tops, they're harder to find and can sell for more becuase they look good on any color S2000.

 

i would say go for the white hardtop mate !!! much suitable to the overall car look!!!
