Default Will a 92 spd tranny bolt in to a 90 1.5?

My brother races a 1990 Honda civic on Ice and we are stepping away from the mustangs we are used to We now have a problem the tranny is pissing oil out and we are not sure if it is worth rebuilding but my main question is what other year tranny could I use besides the 88-91 years? I've got a friend with a wrecked 1992 civic but I'm not sure if tranny will work with the 1.5L? Any help or lists of 5 spd transmission that I can swap into it would be appreachiated greatly.

will it bolt up to the motor....yes

but you will also need a hydro conversion and hydro motor swap mount. a new clutch slave cylinder bracket.

for the money your going to spend to swap it in, you can get it rebuilt.
