Picking up a EG w/ a B18c in it this weekend and that going to be parting the motor out, to put my sleeved High Comp H in it.

Here is what i know about the engine right now, it starting blowing smoke so previous owner had the motor rebuilt,

this is what i was told from previous owner, so will double check these things when i get the motor in my possession

-Low Comp Pistons (will verify what kind)
-Eagle Rods (will double check)
-all new gaskets, rings, bearings, fresh valve job, seals, etc.
-as far as i know head is all stock
-ACT 6puck clutch
-Trans feels clean, flowed in/out of all gears sitting there

right now car is boosted with a ebay turbo kit and wont stay running, will start and stutter than die, its running on a stock OBD2 GSR ECU, i believe its a timing issue, but there is not even 100 miles on the rebuild

if its running on the stock obd2 ecu, that's the problem. if it ran, and doesn't now, it is prob blown up. you need a chipped obd1 ecu and a good tune to make that set up work. boost on stock map = fail
